Role
Motion Designer – Animation & Special Effects
As part of Yamaha’s presence at a high-profile automotive exhibition in Milan, our team was tasked with producing a range of promotional media to showcase one of their new vehicles. The deliverables varied in complexity and needed to be developed under a very tight deadline.

Challenges
Tight Deadline
The original production estimate was three weeks, but due to scheduling constraints, we had only 1.5 weeks to deliver all materials.
Remote Setup Challenges
We had to prepare the entire exhibition remotely, with only monitor specs to work from. Without access to the actual setup, we couldn’t test the animations until the final on-site installation.
Limited Resources
Due to the perceived complexity of The Magic Room, managers initially believed it could not be completed in-house. External agencies were consulted, but their proposals were both over-budget and over-schedule.
Skepticism
Project managers and art directors were uncertain that the required quality and scope could be achieved within the given timeframe.
My Contribution
Collaborated on animation design and created custom special effects to enhance the visual storytelling.

Gallery room
Ten still images needed to be animated as a sequence across ten individual monitors. Since we didn’t have the option to set anything up remotely, the solution was to create simple videos of equal duration, each offset by a timed reveal delay.
